Disciplina: A Classe, o Estado e a Ordem Global

Objetivos
O curso tem por objetivo analisar, do ponto de vista histórico e teórico, a ordem global como produto de combinadas formas de poder que se expressam nas esferas do político, do econômico, do social e do cultural. Para tanto, adota-se perspectiva multidisciplinar que associa teoria da história, teoria das ciências políticas e teoria das relações internacionais. Analisam-se as variáveis internas e externas que incidem na formação das classes sociais, seus impactos no comportamento internacional dos Estados e a decorrente estruturação da ordem global. O curso sugere interpretações, portanto, sobre quais determinações moldam acontecimentos históricos, tornando-os ora mais nacionais, ora mais globais e, ainda, propõe instrumentos metodológicos para avaliar essas determinações.
Os encontros ocorrerão sempre às 18h, na Sala de Vídeo do DH/FFLCH.

Aulas expositivas, discussão de textos e seminários de leitura.
Com exceção do primeiro e do último, cada encontro contará com a participação de um pesquisador que discutirá o emprego do tema de aula em sua investigação empírica.
